Rename Files from Tags

Specifies the character or string used to replace backslashes (\) in tag values when renaming files from tags.

This option is useful when tag values contain folder separators that are not allowed in file names and would create subfolders when passed through. For example, a tag value such as Rock\Classic can be converted to Rock_Classic by setting this option to _.

Leave this field empty to remove folder separators entirely.

Write Files

Mp3tag will keep the modification date of the files, when writing or removing tags.
